Timothy Barth received his undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota and more recently masters and doctoral degrees at Stanford University in aerospace engineering. Timothy joined the computational fluid dynamics branch at NASA Ames in 1985 after working in research at the Boeing Airplane company and Wright Aeronautical laboratories. Timothy has participated actively in the field of computational fluid dynamics with numerous papers in the areas of grid generation, numerical methods for compressible flow, turbulence modeling, parallel computing algorithms for CFD, and domain decomposition.
