Robust and High Performing Software Tools for Scalable and High End Computing

Duration: Half-Day (three hours plus coffee break)

This tutorial introduces state-of-the-art computational tools currently used worldwide in science and engineering. Such tools are used for addressing more complex physical and societal phenomena. Along with the growth of computing resources, these tools are driving the continuous growth of solutions to today's grand challenges through computational modeling and simulation applications. Furthermore, computational science and engineering have branched out into new fields realizing the need for efficient, robust, reusable, and portable software libraries providing implementations of numerical algorithms to solve core problems in traditional and emerging fields.

This tutorial will focus on the use, implementation and applications of these software libraries.
