| Format of the Meeting |

Programme sessions will be initiated by 1-hour invited (plenary) lectures, to highlight major accomplishments, trends and technical challenges of parallel and distributed processing in selected fields of research. Papers selected on the basis of extended abstracts will be presented (20 minutes duration) in two parallel sessions. A poster session will also be held. The day before the conference will be dedicated to tutorials. In summary, a full programme is being provided, with the major goal of making VECPAR'2000 a high quality and fruitful scientific meeting to both junior and senior researchers. |
