Paper submission

The camera ready version of papers selected for presentation in VECPAR’10 should be limited to 14 pages.

The manuscripts must be formatted according to the Rules of the Springer Series Lecture Notes in Computer Science, in particular the styles defined in lncs-article-latex2e.zip and lncs-article-word.zip.

Please do not use any header or footer, running title or author, or the A4paper option.

Extended abstracts must include a title, authors’ names, addresses, complete affiliations, e-mail address of all authors, a short abstract (100 words) and a maximum of three topics from the topics list of the conference that you believe best fits your paper.

Extended abstracts submitted for possible presentation should describe the purpose and scope of the work, contribution to the state-of-the-art, methods used, essential results already obtained, conclusions and supporting figures, and references where appropriate. Submissions failing to meet these requirements may be rejected without technical review.

Any extended abstract that has been or will be presented or published elsewhere will not be considered. Authors should state clearly the differences between the work being submitted and previous work, to avoid any misjudgment from the reviewers concerning originality. Reviewing will be made on the basis of originality, technical quality, style and clarity of presentation and importance to the field. Authors will have access to the referees evaluation form, which may include comments and instructions to follow when preparing the final version of their extended abstracts. A subset of these abstracts will be selected for publication after the meeting.
