Abstract:
We consider a model for two-phase (water and oil), immiscible and incompressible displacement in heterogeneous porous media. In such a model, high-resolution, non-oscillatory schemes are efficient numerical schemes for solving hyperbolic conservation laws. In this paper we describe a GPU parallelization of such central schemes for solving hyperbolic conservation laws arising in the simulation of two-phase flows in three space dimensions.
